Hi, I just bought and read your book and it’s amazing. I’ve definitely changed by diet since reading. I just have one problem though. Metabolically speaking, I’m a beast. I’m 22 years old, 6′6”, 215 lbs and I’m very active so I need about 3,500 calories a day. Most people count calories to loose weight but I need to count calories just so I don’t fade into nothingness. Are there any healthy, high-calorie foods you can recommend to keep me going during the day? Thanks, and once again, you’ve made an incredible book, I’m trying to get all my friends to read it.

Thanks for the comment-I’m glad you are finding the material useful. Congratulations, also, on having a physiology that most people would love to have!
It is a rare situation, but there are healthy ways to increase caloric intake. Throughout the day, you may want to snack on more nuts (which are relatively high in natural fats) and natural high-energy foods (a list of some can be found at http://evolution-diet.com/?p=80 ). Most vegetables won’t do unfortunately since they are light calorically.
I run or play an intense sport pretty much every day, so I’m also familiar with the need for calories. Including a larger high-protein dinner after exercise, I usually find myself hungry before I go to sleep, in which case another high-protein meal may be warranted, or a substantial amount of LoS-Hi-Fi foods in a pre-sleep meal.
Hope this helps!
